Crazy Times!!!!!!!

Well, I am not sure if anyone still checks this thing or not but I thought I would post an update as to what has been happening.

As most of you know (at least I think), Hilary & I will both be heading back to school this fall. We will both be attending The College of St. Scholastica (CSS) for our masters degrees. Hilary will be heading back for her F.N.P. (Family Nurse Practitioner) and I will be going for my M.B.A. (Masters in Business Adminstration) and my M.A.M. (M.A. - Management). Along with all this fun we will be having, I also was asked by the bank to attend the Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison. Hilary's program should take her about 3 years and my degrees at CSS should take 2 - 2 1/2 years and the GSB is a 3 year program.

With all that being said, I am still finishing up everything I need to do for CSS and this Friday, I will be taking my GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) which is the last item on my list. So I am a little busy trying to study (if you want to call it that) for this test. If I do well enough, I will not have to take a few classes.

I know this is a long way of just saying we haven't posted any pictures lately but I hope you do check back and hopefully we will post some new pictures soon.

4th of July

Hilary's favorite holiday has come & gone but we both agreed this was one of our favorites.

We started the day by watching the parade in Superior with Chris & the kids. This year the parade had to follow a different route because of the bridge closures and so the parade made its way right in front of the Kubareks house. It was so nice to be able to park in their driveway and just sit in their front yard and watch.

After the parade, we had to run and get some things and then headed home to get ready for everyone who was coming out. Later in the afternoon, Haley, Chris, Andrea & the kids and Alissa, Geoff & the kids all came out. We BBQ, played outside, had the sprinkler on for the kids and then we headed down to watch the fireworks at the lake.

I was so excited to try and get a few pictures of the fireworks. At the Lake Nebagamon fireworks, they shoot them off of the beach and everyone sits anywhere from the beach up to Bridge's. The great part about it is that you are so close to the fireworks and they seem to explode right over you. The bad part is that if your trying to take pictures, there are so many people that you have to kind of just shoot from where you are at and you don't really have the ability to just get up and move where every you want. We sat pretty close to the beach (a perfect spot to watch) so it wasn't the greatest spot to take pictures from but I got a few (and a few with a couple of tree branches).

After the Nebagamon fireworks, we headed back to our house and had smores and shot off the fireworks we bought.
